Bentley
Bentley is a British car manufacturer founded by W.O. Bentley in 1919. Their first car was developed in New Street Mews, London. They began with a modest history and moved forward with a fierce pursuit of luxury and performance. Currently offering a wide range of models from the Bentley Continental, New Continental, Arnage, Continental Flying Spur, Continental GT, Bentayga and the Mulsanne which are marketed worldwide.
Bentley is known for the world’s most irresistible high performance GT cars. With five wins in the 24 hours Le Mans in the 1920s, one more in 2003, and several other victories such as the British GT Championship and Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup, the brand has a reputable history in motorsports.
Bentley’s history of ownership includes merger and separation with Rolls-Royce, beginning with the 1931 purchase by Rolls-Royce of Bentley. It was eventually acquired by Vickers plc in 1980 and is now currently owned by the Volkswagen Group owns since 1998.
